Website Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 28 July 2026

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Mün Hair website. By using this website, you agree to these terms.

1. About Mün Hair

Mün Hair operates from:

9 Broadway Parade
London
N8 9DE

Email: munhair12@gmail.com
Telephone: 020 7018 5051

2. Website information

We aim to ensure that information on our website is accurate and up to date. However, service descriptions, prices, availability, team information and opening hours may change.

Website content is provided for general information and should not be treated as personalised hair, beauty or medical advice.

A service displayed on the website may not be suitable for every client. Suitability will be assessed through consultation, hair assessment and patch testing where required.

3. Appointments

Appointments are subject to availability and are not confirmed until accepted through our booking system or confirmed directly by the salon.

We may require a deposit when an appointment is booked. Any deposit amount will be explained before payment.

By booking an appointment, you agree to comply with our Booking and Cancellation Policy.

4. Prices and payments

Prices displayed on the website are subject to change. The final price may depend on factors including hair length, thickness, condition, previous colour, product usage, appointment duration and the service required.

Where the final price cannot be confirmed in advance, an estimated price may be provided following consultation. Any significant changes will be discussed before the service proceeds.

Payment must be made using one of the payment methods accepted by the salon.

5. Consultations and treatment results

Clients must provide complete and accurate information about their hair history, previous treatments, allergies, sensitivities and any other matter that may affect the service.

Results vary between clients and cannot be guaranteed. Factors such as existing hair condition, previous chemical services, home colouring, maintenance and aftercare may affect the result.

We may refuse, alter or postpone a service where we reasonably believe it would be unsafe, unsuitable or likely to compromise the condition of the hair.

6. Patch testing

A patch test is compulsory for:

  • Every new client receiving a relevant chemical service

  • Existing clients who have not received a chemical service at Mün Hair during the previous six months

  • Any client where a new patch test is otherwise required for safety, manufacturer guidance or insurance purposes

The patch test must be completed at least 48 hours before the appointment.

This requirement applies to services including:

  • Toner

  • Hair colour

  • Highlights

  • Balayage

  • Keratin treatments

  • Smoothing or anti-frizz treatments

We may also require strand testing or additional consultation before proceeding.

A service cannot proceed without the required patch test. The salon is not responsible for an appointment being cancelled or rearranged where the client has failed to complete the test in time.

A successful patch test does not guarantee that a reaction will never occur. Clients must immediately tell the salon about any reaction, sensitivity or change in health or medication before their appointment.

7. Allergies and sensitivities

Clients are responsible for informing Mün Hair about known allergies, sensitivities, medical conditions, pregnancy, medication and previous reactions that may be relevant to a service.

We reserve the right to refuse or modify a service where there may be a health or safety concern.

8. Website availability

We do not guarantee that the website will always be available or free from technical errors, viruses or interruptions.

We may suspend, withdraw or change any part of the website without notice.

9. External links

Our website may contain links to third-party websites. These links are provided for convenience, and Mün Hair is not responsible for the content, security, availability or privacy practices of third-party websites.

10. Intellectual property

Unless otherwise stated, the content of this website—including text, branding, graphics, photographs and design—is owned by or licensed to Mün Hair.

Content must not be copied, reproduced, republished, sold or used commercially without prior written permission.

11. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or breach of statutory consumer rights.

To the extent permitted by law, Mün Hair is not responsible for indirect or unforeseeable losses resulting from use of the website.

12. Your statutory rights

These terms do not affect your legal rights as a consumer. Services must be provided with reasonable care and skill and in accordance with applicable UK consumer law.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory consumer rights.

Booking and Cancellation Policy

Last updated: 28 July 2026

This policy applies to appointments booked with Mün Hair.

1. Booking an appointment

Appointments may be booked through our online booking system or by contacting the salon.

Clients are responsible for providing accurate contact information and checking their appointment date, time and selected service.

Appointment availability is not guaranteed until the booking has been confirmed.

2. Deposits

A deposit may be required to secure your appointment. The amount will be confirmed at the time of booking.

Your deposit will normally be deducted from the final cost of your appointment.

Deposits are linked to the appointment for which they were paid and may not be transferable to another client.

3. Cancelling or rescheduling

We require at least 48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment.

Where at least 48 hours’ notice is provided, the deposit may be transferred to a rearranged appointment or refunded, depending on the booking terms confirmed at the time.

Where less than 48 hours’ notice is provided, the deposit may be retained to reflect the salon’s losses and the time reserved for the appointment.

Cancellation charges and retained deposits will be reasonable and proportionate. Government consumer guidance states that a business should generally retain only an amount reflecting its actual direct loss and should take reasonable steps to reduce that loss.

4. Missed appointments

Failure to attend an appointment without notice may result in the loss of your deposit.

We may require full or partial advance payment before accepting a future booking following a missed appointment or repeated late cancellations.

5. Late arrival

Please arrive on time for your appointment.

If you arrive late, we may need to shorten, alter or reschedule the service to avoid affecting other clients. The original appointment charge may still apply where the reserved time cannot be used for another booking.

If there is insufficient time to complete the service safely or to the required standard, the appointment may be treated as a late cancellation.

6. Patch tests

Patch testing is compulsory for every new client receiving a relevant chemical service and for clients who have not received a chemical service at Mün Hair during the previous six months.

Patch tests must be completed at least 48 hours before appointments for:

  • Toner

  • Hair colour

  • Highlights

  • Balayage

  • Keratin treatments

  • Smoothing or anti-frizz treatments

Appointments cannot proceed where the required patch test has not been completed.

If an appointment must be cancelled or rearranged because a client did not attend a required patch test, the salon’s cancellation terms may apply.

7. Changing your service

Please tell us as early as possible if you wish to change the service booked.

Some changes require additional time, consultation or patch testing and may not be possible on the day. If a shorter service is requested with less than 48 hours’ notice, the salon may charge for some or all of the originally reserved time where it cannot reasonably be rebooked.

8. Consultations and service suitability

A consultation may be required before certain services.

Mün Hair may refuse, postpone or modify a service where:

  • A required patch or strand test has not been completed

  • There is evidence of a reaction or sensitivity

  • Relevant hair or medical history has not been disclosed

  • The service may damage the hair or scalp

  • The requested result cannot reasonably or safely be achieved

  • A client behaves in an abusive, threatening or inappropriate way

Any deposit will be handled fairly according to the circumstances and any costs or time already incurred.

9. Appointments cancelled by Mün Hair

Occasionally, we may need to cancel or rearrange an appointment due to illness, emergencies, technical problems or circumstances beyond our control.

We will provide as much notice as reasonably possible and offer to transfer the booking to another suitable appointment. Where we cancel and cannot offer a suitable alternative, any deposit paid for that appointment will be refunded.

Mün Hair is not responsible for additional expenses incurred as a result of an appointment being changed or cancelled, except where required by law.

10. Online and telephone bookings

Bookings made online or by telephone may be subject to statutory cancellation rights.

Where a client asks for a service to begin during an applicable 14-day cancellation period, they may be asked to expressly request that the service starts early. If the service has begun before cancellation, the client may be responsible for a proportionate amount for work already completed. Once the service has been fully performed following the client’s express request and acknowledgement, the statutory cancellation right may end. Distance-selling rules require businesses to provide relevant cancellation information before a customer commits to an online or telephone service booking.

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory consumer rights.

11. Concerns following an appointment

Please contact us as soon as possible if you have concerns about a service.

We would appreciate the opportunity to assess your hair and discuss an appropriate resolution. Clients should follow the aftercare advice provided and should avoid allowing another salon or individual to alter the hair before Mün Hair has had a reasonable opportunity to assess the concern.
